Can’t say enough positive things about Laing Storage. The communication with staff was fast and informative. The unit was clean, spacious, and conveniently located. And the pricing was very fair for the space we had. Highly recommend! This helped us so much during our move.
All in all, a very good storage experience. When some friends needed a temporary storage space between moves, Brian set us up with a unit that day. He was very helpful and professional, and the price was reasonable. The only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is that there's not a convenient way to prop open the front door for loading in and out, and a sizeable crack/pothole in the pavement at the front door makes it inconvenient to roll carts through the doorway. I wouldn't recommend storing small valuables in here, as someone with a door code could shimmy beneath the storage gate to rummage through your stuff. There are cameras, though, so I wouldn't consider that a huge concern. I'd give 4 1/2 stars if I could.
I used Laing Self Storage in Binghamton to safely store my daughters college items before her move in date. Brian was so accommodating! The space was perfect for our needs and we will be using this storage facility in the future. It was very secure and convenient.
Brian L. and Mike (our onsite rep) were excellent! I was coordinating a local move for my mother from a home she's lived in for many years to downsizing to a 2 bdrm senior living apt. Laing's mobile storage unit (MSU) was a great way to for her to organize her downsizing space and made it easier for us to coordinate the process on my end (I live several hours away from the Binghamton area).I highly recommend renting an MSU if you need to downsize, want to pack in a more organized or just at a leisurely pace-the cost and flexibility are well worth it!
